While webinars can always be purchased individually, RARE Subscriptions cover a range of service sizes ranging from individual subscriptions up to large multi-site organisations for more convenient and accessible webinars. There are over 200 recorded webinars already in the subscription channel and more are added regularly as the scheduled webinars become recordings. Webinars cover a range of topics from working directly with the children to ensuring compliance, exploring best practice and supporting leadership and management skills so there is something for everyone. All webinars are based on the NQF so are suitable for educators all across Australia.

How the subscription works

Subscription access is off a central ‘channel’ link where all recordings are stored. There is no log-in information required to access the subscription. Certificates are requested manually when educators watch webinars, and these are issued to a central email address provided with the order to ensure that only those included in your subscription receive certificates. As such a list of names of educators is not required for the subscription order. Please ensure that you use an email address that you are happy with all certificates coming to, so you can pass them on from there. Please note that it is the responsibility of the organisation to have a system in place to ensure that educators/employees have watched webinars and gained knowledge from them through discussion, reflection sheets, quizzes etc.

Requesting certificates

Once a webinar has been watched individual educators can request certificates using the ‘certificate request’ tab on the website. Alternatively some services prefer to email Rachel to request a number of certificates for educators who have watched webinars within the service subscription recently. Either way is fine, so long as the educators have registered under their own name when watching the webinar so this can be verified. RARE also aims to be as flexible as possible as Rachel understands that not everyone consumes PD the same way, so you can also watch webinars together at meetings or team building days and request individual certificates for the educators who were present. Just mention that it was watched as a group when you request the certificate as there will only be one registration name.

Renewing subscriptions

Subscriptions are for 12 months from the month of purchase with invoices being issued at the start of the month to be paid by the end of the month if you wish to renew for another 12 months. For example, if you purchase during May you will receive an invoice via email at the start of May the following year to invite you to renew by the end of May. If you choose to renew you will receive another 12 months access. If you choose not to renew no further certificates will be issued after the end of that month.

Purchasing subscriptions

If you would like to join the many organisations, including FDC schemes, services, RTOs and individual educators, who already enjoy using RARE subscriptions please do so through the online store as the subscriptions are controlled by the order number in the store. You can choose to pay via an invoice during checkout if this suits you better. Once an order is received information will be issued on how to access the subscription. For larger organisations please contact for a quote.
